During the summer months at MMLC, our Montessori Guides get some additional time off while our other teachers and assistant teachers bring our amazing summer curriculum to life over the course of 12 weeks. The MMLC Summer Program is designed with the principles of Montessori education in mind, while also incorporating new materials and curriculum specifically tailored for the summertime. The summer curriculum is divided into six exciting two-week themed sessions, with a strong emphasis on outdoor adventures, gardening, nature, science, sports, and creative art. We also have the pleasure of welcoming exciting guest visitors during this time.
At MMLC, we offer our students a special Summer Programming during the school breaks. Toddler House enrolment is mandatory during the summer months, while Children’s House enrolment can be either for 12 months (including summer) or 9 months (schoolyear only). For students in the Children’s House who are enrolled in the 12-month program, we provide the option of taking three tuition-free weeks off during the summer to attend camps, extracurricular activities, or go on vacation. Taking vacation weeks is not mandatory, and for each vacation week taken during the corresponding month, we offer a 25% discount on tuition fees.
